Saige and Mariel’s wedding was an absolute dream to photograph. I cannot even begin to explain how relaxed both brides were - they spent the day completely in the moment. Even Saige’s crutches didn’t take away her continual smile.
Saige and Mariel met in a psychology class their first semester in college and “after a few weeks of playing tic-tac-toe and hangman on their class notes, they finally went on a date and the rest was history.” When I asked what made them decide to spend the rest of their lives together, they answered, “When you know, you know. Ya know?”
I usually hate the term “soulmates,” but I’ve rarely seen two people so seamlessly merge (even their names sound made for each other, like song lyrics). Plus, they are truly two of the nicest people I’ve ever met. And strong. Let’s not forget strong.
