I've had so many AMAZING CLIENTS this year and I cannot explain how happy you all make me!
In 2023 I photographed:

and 28 couples/engagements,
AND I CANNOT THANK YOU ALL ENOUGH FOR TRUSTING ME WITH YOUR INTIMATE AND SPECIAL MOMENTS!

4. I cannot stop scrolling through Gustav Grall's instagram feed - I love how well he composes seemingly ordinary scenes.
I'm also a little obsessed with Taisha Hirokawa's Ordinary Landscapes.

6. BEST OF 2023 WEDDINGS - PART 1 and PART II. (Note - the order is totally random and I included photos from ALL of this year's weddings except for Kelly and Robert's December 30th elopement (because I'm still editing those photos)).

7. A wonderful list of things to do inside in DC this winter.
Also, one of my favorite winter museums is Glenstone and tickets are usually easier to get in January/February.

10. A good friend brought one of these over to help "cleanse" our house for the new year (we've had some bad luck lately, to put it mildly) and I think it may have worked (I know, I know, placebo effect, etc. etc.).
GIVEAWAY FOR A FREE WEEKDAY MINI SESSION!!
I promised myself that as soon as I had over 100 google reviews (AN EXTRA HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL OF MY CLIENTS WHO MADE THIS HAPPEN!!), I'd host a giveaway as a way to say thank you to everyone who helped build by business and who reads this newsletter. But 2023 was a busy year and I couldn't make it happen. Luckily, it is now my slow season and I finally have some time.
To enter, please click this link and list your favorite place to go in the DC area**. A winner will be randomly selected on January 15, 2024.
** A few fine points **
(1) The mini session MUST occur before April 15, 2024 and I recommend scheduling 2-3 months in advance to guarantee availability.
(2) The session has to take place within a 30 minute drive of Arlington, VA.
(3) You must agree to share the photos ahead of time.
(4) For family mini-sessions, the maximum number of people is five.
Also, one more small point - I've never used rafflecopter before and I'm hoping there won't be any issues, but if something goes wrong I'll try again next month.
