10 Happy Things for May
/10 HAPPY THINGS
I received so many wonderful emails and comments about last month's happy list that I decided to make another one. Hopefully you'll find something that makes you smile!

1. I'm full out obsessed with Barbie and Ken's wedding photos (seriously, if you only click one link let this be the one).
2. Epicurious's Cook-With-What-You've-Got Recipe Finder is so much fun to explore.
3. Even though I'm a photographer, I'm horrible at actually printing my photos. I love these 11 cool display ideas (and need to incorporate them)!
4. The girls and I just finished watching Never Have I Ever (produced by Mindy Kaling) on Netflix. The plot is somewhat predictable (as are most teen dramas), but the one liners made me laugh like crazy. We also just rewatched this film and loved it even more the second time.
5. Funny (and true).
6. A street artist in quarantine "decorates" his bathroom (I love Banksy).
7. I love going out to dinner, but Dan hates it. So quarantine has given us the perfect compromise - luxury meals at home. Our Easter dinner was from Thompson Italian and it was AMAZING!! And, finally, Roses Luxury doesn't have a line down the block!
8. I think our dogs may be sick of us, but we cannot stop cuddling them. On my wishlist is one of Jessie Whitten's commissioned pet portraits. They're so beautiful!!
9. Speaking of things I want, my friend/client Christin is selling these gorgeous plant tower gardens. I don't usually have a green thumb, but I really want one.
10. The 2020 books worth reading now.
BUSINESS UPDATE
I miss everyone!! And I'm really hoping to open back up in mid-June, but in the meantime.
I AM NOT currently scheduling family sessions (nor am I offering front porch sessions), but I'm planning on reopening in June. I’ll send out a newsletter when I open back up.
If you are interested in porch sessions pre-June, my friend Mariah Miranda is photographing some and she's amazing!
I AM scheduling fall 2020 weddings and 2021 weddings. I still have a few weekend dates available for this autumn (though not many), please contact me if interested or forward this to friends.
I hope I succeeded in taking everyone’s mind off of the pandemic, at least for a few minutes.
Please stay healthy and keep in touch!!
(I still love Trout’s t-shirt, even though it’s completely inaccurate these days>)
