10 Happy Things for October

HAPPY OCTOBER!!

So excited for little kids in Halloween costumes and big kids coming home from college for fall break!

10 HAPPY THINGS

As always, this list is pretty random, but hopefully something on it will bring you joy!

  • 3. Did anyone else read this NY Times article about the Prince documentary that we'll probably never see?  It sounds fascinating. (gift link)

  • 5. This house is so over-the-top and I sort of love it. Especially the bath/sitting room. Also, loving the colorful textures of this house.

  • 7. How fun/interesting would a same height party be? (Or, even better, a same height concert)?

  • 9. A good friend came to visit last week ago and we spent an overcast morning completing a version of this hike/walk - it was so pretty!

  • 10. Not happy, but such a powerful read - " . . . there is power and meaning in showing up. If I don’t go, I can’t take notes, and I can’t have an experience that becomes mine through writing." (another gift link)

RECENT REVIEWS

As cliched as it sounds, reviews mean the world to small businesses like mine - so THANK YOU again to everyone who wrote one!!

Darcy is the best of the best! We didn't know what photography style we wanted for our wedding until we found Darcy and we just knew...that's it! Darcy did a remarkable job capturing not only the beautiful sights of our wedding but also the "feeling" of the day. Our photos truly make you feel the day's warmth, joy, tears, laughter, silliness, and everything in between! Darcy is also just a wonderful human and we loved her presence. We highly recommend Darcy! - Lisa

It was a true pleasure to meet and work with Darcy for our engagement photoshoot back in February. I was looking back on our pics just now, reflecting on how fun the day was, and suddenly felt compelled to spread the good word and leave a review. From start to finish, it was a fun experience for us. What really stood out to me was how easy it was to talk to her throughout the session and how comfortable she made sure me and my fiancé were posing and moving about the venue. Each photo captured and represented us well. The turn around time for the final photos were faster than expected and flawless. She even made requested edits for us if we wanted to make random solo head shots or something. As the youth would say - she cooked. Overall, I highly recommend Darcy for anyone looking for high-quality and representative engagement photos. The photos are something I will cherish forever. - Akin

Darcy was amazing! She took beautiful photos which were very natural and spontaneous. We would love her to take our photos again in the future. - Patricia
