As most couples know, I usually avoid cherry blossom season like the plague, especially close to the Tidal Basin (so. many. crowds!). But there’s a second type of cherry blossom tree that blooms after the first type (the kwanzan cherry blossoms) and they’re gorgeous!! Plus, no crowds! How crazy that I’ve lived in this city for over 17 years now and I’m still learning its secrets.
Sam and Kolya were such a fun easy-going couple to photograph. I cannot wait for their wedding this fall!!
