Summer Vacation 2023, Malta & The Dolomites - Part 1 - Valletta & Victoria

For this year’s summer vacation, we** decided to head to the Dolomites (aka Italian Alps), as we really enjoyed hiking in Greece last year, but hated the heat and assumed that the Alps would have cooler temps. (**Note that by “we” I mean Dan, Freya, and me - Parker and Trout would prefer to never hike again).
I knew the Dolomites would not be “relaxing”, so I thought it would be fun to add on a beach trip as well. But where to go? After some digging, I discovered that Ryanair has a direct flight from Malta to Venice. Problem solved. I’ve wanted to go to Malta for awhile now and all the stars seemed to be aligning.
