Fall is my busy season - so I don’t spend as much time with my family as in other seasons (thank you, Dan, for taking on the monster share, despite being at trial as well). I took a lot more photos then this - but Freya doesn’t want me to share most of them (so goes life with teenagers).

Still - we had some great moments - Halloween (Audrey Hepburn, a Nats player (world series winners!!), and a football player); the Nutcracker at the Kennedy Center; P’s 13th birthday and F’s 14th; Georgetown Glow; Rent at National Theater; Maggie Rogers, Lizzo, & the Head and the Heart at the Anthem; Fields of Fear at Cox Farms (this was AWESOME!). And lots of unseasonably warm weather (so much better than last year’s rain).

We ended the year with a small(ish) group of amazing friends and a few rounds of Celebrity/Fish Bowl. The kids are old enough they go their own way for the beginning of the night, but I love how they still join the parents at midnight for the countdown.

But all in all I’m ready for 2020!! Bring it on!
