Soccer, Leaf Piles, & A Walk in the Forest (Washington D.C.)

Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall
— F. Scott Fitzgerald

For a long time I’ve really wanted to go on a hike for a family photoshoot. In my experience, when kids are in the woods they tend to forget the camera for awhile while they explore, discover, and run. And the photos end up “real” and everyone’s personality comes out (less “fake” smiles and more real emotions).

Luckily, the T family couldn’t wait to get on the trail and we had so much fun - crossing streams, finding mushrooms, hiding in trees, climbing everything.

All three of these brothers have such different personalities, but they all love being outside and they all really love each other. Honestly, it was an amazing morning.
