Living in Washington DC gives me opportunities to photograph the coolest events.

And this was definitely a career highlight - cherry blossoms, a wonderful group of family and friends, and an army promotion ceremony - all on the steps of the Jefferson Memorial on the most beautiful spring morning ever.
